I have always been
between places.
The longer version of how I became an engineer, a traveller, and someone who believes the best places are made memorable by the stories we tell about them.
Learning how to build.
I began as an engineer, drawn to the satisfaction of taking something complicated and making it work. That way of thinking has stayed with me: look closely, understand the structure, then find the clearest way forward.
But I was never only interested in systems. I have always been equally curious about people — how they make a place feel welcoming, how a small ritual becomes a memory, and why one room can stay with you long after you have left it.
Learning how to belong somewhere new.
I lived in the United States for six years and worked in a corporate environment. It gave me discipline, perspective, and an appreciation for the people behind every organisation. It also made me realise that a life can be successful on paper and still leave you wanting a more human kind of experience.
So I left my corporate job and moved to Spain. I spent three years building a life there and launched my own business, learning a different rhythm and becoming more aware of the details that make everyday life feel like a story: a neighbourhood café, an evening walk, a conversation that lasts longer than expected.
Travel taught me to notice.
I travelled through Europe, volunteered across South America and Europe, including Ecuador, and gained hands-on experience handling digital marketing for hotels in Mallorca, Spain. Each place gave me a different lesson, but the common thread was simple: the best experiences are created by people who care about the details.
That is what attracts me to hospitality. A beautiful hotel is not only architecture or design. It is the feeling a guest carries home — the sense that someone thought carefully about the light, the welcome, the recommendation, or the story behind the place.

I am now back in Mexico and looking for a meaningful volunteering experience. I would love to help a thoughtful host create blog posts and editorial content that do more than describe a stay — content that lets a future guest feel the atmosphere before they arrive.
I can write about the people, the surrounding town, the small discoveries, the food, the rhythm of a morning, and the details that make the experience distinct. I bring a bilingual perspective, a traveller’s curiosity, and the patience to listen before I write.
